Janet LaValley & Terri Barous April 30, 1988	"I first saw Tribe April 30, 1988 at a mini battle of the bands at a car dealer garage on the north shore. I believe there was Tribe, Dumptruck, The Neighborhoods and one other group. WBCN was broadcasting parts of it. I was driving around and heard it and then drove to the dealership. I got there just before Tribe played. I sort of remember Eric telling me that this was only the third time they had ever played out. They played three songs and i was sold on them...
